    Even better than expected

    I always expect quality from Public Goods, but I was not expecting this... I thought I was getting a nice notebook to write in, so I bought four of them. Ionly needed one. The cotton pages are bound together in a tear-out pad, which is easily replaced when you run out. The banana leather cover is beautiful and durable, and can be used over and over *if* you can get paper bound on the long side AND it's only 10.5" length (so it can fit inside the strap that secures the pad to the cover). I plan to gift the extras, and probably buy some more for friends and family. I hope they will make refill pads available; otherwise I will look for 8" x 10" watercolor blocks or pads.
