A friend gifted a set of towels, washcloths, etc from Public Goods eons ago. Nonetheless, bc I'm lazy, I threw them into a closet where I promptly forgot about them and continued w/ my normal regimen, which involved buying 4 paper-thin, bound stacks of washcloths from Target (each stack containing 6 washcloths) and discarding each one after 2 to 3 uses.
Recently, I went to take a shower and realized I was out of my usual washcloths. Sifting thru my closet, I found the set from Public Goods. 5 mins later, standing in the shower, what hit me w/ the force of revelation was the horrors I had subjected myself to my entire life by relying on the wafer-think accumulation of thread Target markets as a washcloth.
Simply put, when I first touched the generous fibers of my Public Goods washcloth to my body, I felt as if G-d him- or herself was holding me in his or her deliriously ecstatic arms.
Words cannot convey the sublime thickness of Public Goods' washcloth, nor its plush, pillowy thickness, crafted w/ loving-care by Turkish artisans. It is, in short, the remedy for dirt, depression, alienation and all other plagues of modern life. I've since ordered 4 more and my life hasn't been the same since.
If my words have any impact, I look forward to you experiencing the newfound joy I feel daily.
